Membership: how it works



The Membership module is ideal for recording and managing memberships of any club, society, association, etc.

Step 1) Go to a Contact, and select the Membership option under Navigation (grey bar on the right-hand side). The screenshot uses 'Janet Davis' as an example with 2 possible groups - select the group. You can add a new group Name if there it is not on the list.

Step 2) Take a look at the screenshot of a completed Membersip form. Note you do not have to complete the Paid or Fees fields - there are only useful if tracking fees.

Tip: a Contact can below to any number of Membership groups.

Step 3) The Membership module has various built-in filters:
> All Paid: filters all members of a particular group that are Current and have Paid.
> All Unpaid: filters all members of a particular group that are Current and have Not Paid.
> All Current: filters all members of a particular group that are Current.
> All Archived: filters all members of a particular group that are Not Current.

Tip: if you place a tick in Current, it means the Contact is current. Remove the tick and they are archived.

The Running Total field with always give you a total accord to a filter, i.e. if you click the All Paid option you will get a total sum of fees paid by current membership of a particular group.
